This privacy statement explains our policies and practices related to the collection and processing of personal data that we collect in connection with the implementation of the Pre-boarding service. Access to and use of personal data through the SJJPPS application does not in any way affect the confidentiality, integrity and availability of personal data. The Pre-boarding service is described in detail through the local passenger service procedure, which is an integral part of the contract with the airline.
What personal data do we process?
Personal data of registered passengers are processed (name and surname, date, destination, luggage tag number).
Why do we process this personal data?
For the purpose of providing the Pre-boarding service, Sarajevo International Airport as a handling company, through an internally developed application (SJJPPS), has access to the personal data of passengers and processes them to the extent that they are necessary for the provision of boarding card check services, passenger registration upon entering the departure waiting room, checking whether the passenger needs to return for an additional baggage check and for the fast lane service.
How long do we keep this personal data?
After 24 hours, the system automatically anonymizes the data in the database. Also, when exporting data, the passenger's first and last name is anonymized, i.e. replaced with an initial. If it is necessary to duplicate personal data, they are deleted immediately after the completion of the Pre-boarding service in such a way that their further use is impossible.
Who do we share this personal information with?
Sarajevo International Airport undertakes not to transfer, sell, rent or share said data in any way and undertakes to use them exclusively for the purpose of providing the above services before boarding.
